Specialist Workshop on Advanced Instrumentation and Measurement Techniques for Nuclear Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics and Severe Accidents

Dear colleagues, dear friends!

It is our pleasure to invite you to the Specialist Workshop on Advanced Instrumentation and Measurement Techniques for Nuclear Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics and Severe Accidents 2024, which will take place from June 17 to 20, 2024 in Dresden, Germany.

SWINTH is hosted by the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf and co-hosted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development / Nuclear Energy Agency – Committee for the Safety of Nuclear Installations / Working Group on the Analysis and Management of Accidents (OECD/NEA CSNI/WGAMA) and the Significant Light & Heavy Water Reactor Thermal-Hydraulic Experiments Network for the Consistent Exploitation of the Data (SILENCE). It follows up the following earlier events:

SWINTH-2024 combines the respective experiences and roles of OECD/NEA-CSNI/WGAMA and SILENCE Network in a joint organizational effort on a common goal.

SWINTH-2024 gathers distinguished experts and aspiring young scientists from the fields of thermal-hydraulic instrumentation and accident management to discuss the current state of science and technology as well as future research and development needs. In addition to the international nature of the event, we would particularly like to encourage the participation of young female researchers in this fascinating field of science and technology.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the SWINTH-2024!
